People are doing Smart TV interfaces wrong.

On Desktop and Touch, thanks to Fitt’s Law, you get to put always-reachable stuff in the corner, like Control Center on iOS or the Start button on Windows 95.

However, on Smart TV, where pressing the four arrow buttons on the remote are the only interactions available, reaching “the corner” requires the user to hit up or left repeatedly and lose the main context in the process.

(This has been a complaint filed against all Apple TV apps.)

@poga 🤮,別在意!

I like the fact that my personal accounting software is literally called Beancount.

The name is there to remind you every time you run a command. It is a great perspective that the numbers are not a measurement of self-worth — they are just the beans you count.

We all need that reminder.

I wear my AirPods commuting to protect my hearing. I am glad that I remembered to take it off and hear the bird chirps before walking into the building.

@st3fan I scrolled two pages of commit logs earlier and I share your sentiment.
Instead of adding new features, most commits are focused toward hardening existing features and test cases. These are the responsible maintainers’ use cases we should celebrate!
